1 tablespoon olive oil
4 pork steaks, 3/4-inch thick
1 can (10 ounce size) cream of asparagus soup
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup water
4 potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup light cream or half and half
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork steaks and cook, turning, until browned on both sides.
Drain off any excess fat.
Combine the soup, green onions, salt, pepper, and water in a bowl until smooth.
Place half the pork steaks in the crock pot. Top with half the sliced potatoes and half the shredded cabbage. Repeat layers.
Pour the soup mixture over the top. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Turn the crock pot to high. Drizzle the cream over the top of the ingredients. Cover and cook on high for 20-30 more minutes or until the pork is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
