Ingredients: 1 cup dairy sour cream 1 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened 2 eggs 1 1/2 cup mashed bananas 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup chopped nuts ***Vanilla Glaze*** 2 cups powdered sugar 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons hot water
Directions: Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix sugar, sour cream, margarine and egg in large mixing bowl on low speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 1 minute. Beat in bananas and vanilla on low 30 seconds. Beat in flour, salt and baking soda on medium, scraping sides. Stir in nuts.
Spread in greased and floured jelly roll pan, 15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1 inch. Bake until light brown. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool. Frost with Vanilla glaze. Cut into bars, 2 x 1 inch.
For Vanilla Glaze: Mix ingredients. Stir in 1-2 teaspoons additional hot water until smooth and of desired consistency.
