Ingredients: 6 all beef hot dogs 1 can (12 ounce size) beer 6 hot dog buns, split and toasted if desired
Directions: Pour the beer slowly into a deep skillet. Bring the beer to a boil over high heat.
Carefully poke each hot dog with a fork to lightly prick it. Place the hot dogs in the beer and let cook at a boil for 5 minutes or until the hot dogs are heated through. Poking them with the fork keeps them from splitting open. If you use jumbo hot dogs they make take longer than 5 minutes to heat through.
Remove the cooked hot dogs from the beer with tongs or a fork and place on the buns. Top as desired with your favorite toppings.
The beer not only keeps the dogs moist but also adds flavor so use a good one!
