Ingredients: 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate 3/4 cup butter 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 4 eggs 1 pie shell, baked (9") whipped cream if desired
Directions: Melt chocolate and set aside to cool.
In a small mixer bowl, cream butter. Add sugar, melted chocolate and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs. Beat about 3 minutes, until mixture is smooth and thick.
Pour into baked pie shell and chill. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
