Ingredients: 2 cups flour 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup butter 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 6 eggs
Directions: Heat crock pot on high while preparing ingredients. Combine the flour, cream of tartar, and salt.
Cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and butter mixtures until just mixed. Place in well greased coffee can. Cover loosely with foil. Place can in crock pot.
Cover; bake for 3 hours on high or until cake tests done. Remove from crock pot and let cool in can on a rack for 10 minutes. Remove from can and let cool completely.
