
Easy, Creamy Chicken And Dumplings

4 skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut in bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons butter
2 cans (10.75 ounce size) cream of chicken soup
1 onion, finely diced
2 packages (8 count size) refrigerated biscuit dough
water to cover
Combine the chicken, butter, cream of chicken soup, and onion in the crock pot. Add enough water to cover the ingredients. Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
Turn the crock pot to high. Cut the biscuits into quarters and drop onto the liquid in the crock pot. Cover the crock pot and cook on high for 30 minutes or until the dumplings are cooked through.
Serve hot.
