Ingredients: 1 large beef round steak, cut in strips 1 envelope dry onion soup mix 1 can (10.75 ounce ) mushroom soup, condensed 1 soup can water 1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and sliced spices and herbs to taste*
Directions: * Some suggestions are: salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, marjoram, herbs de Provence, or Italian herb blend.
Combine all ingredients except meat in a crock pot. Add meat. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Before serving, thicken gravy with flour or cornstarch mixed with a little water. If you wish, add 1 cup sour cream to the gravy and stir well just before serving. Serve over noodles.
