
Crab A La King

8 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon table salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 quart whole sweet milk or half & half
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped pimientos
2 tablespoons butter
1 lemon, juice and rind only
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 pound crab meat (cooked)
Combine flour, salt and pepper and mix into a paste with part of milk. Add peppers and pimientos to balance of milk and cook 5 minutes over a low heat.
Add flour paste and stir constantly until thickened. Add butter, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and crab meat. Simmer gently until hot.
Serve over pasta or biscuits.
