
Beef Tips With Red Wine Gravy

1 pound beef tips or lean stew meat
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can (10.75 ounce size) golden mushroom soup
1/2 cup red wine
1 can (4 ounce size) sliced mushrooms, drained
Place the beef in the bottom of the crock pot. Sprinkle it evenly with the onion soup mix. Pour the soup and wine over the beef. Add the mushrooms.
Mix the beef tips and other ingredients until the soup is dissolved.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or until the beef is tender. Stir well then serve the beef with the gravy over rice or wide egg noodles.
