
Hash Brown Hot Dog Casserole

1 cup sour cream
1 can (10 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 bag (32 ounce size) frozen hash brown potatoes
8 hot dogs, sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup cracker crumbs
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 3-quart baking dish.
Combine the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, melted butter, chopped onion, and 1 cup of the cheese in the greased baking dish. Mix to combine.
Stir in the hash browns, hot dogs, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
Top the mixture with the remaining cheddar cheese and the cracker crumbs.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-45 minutes or until bubbly.
Serve the hash brown hot dog casserole hot.
