
Crab Crostini

6 ounces cooked lump crabmeat
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
2 tablespoons mayonnaise, PLUS
2 teaspoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
4 drops hot pepper sauce
16 slices Italian bread
Preheat broiler.
Pick over crabmeat to remove cartilage. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except Italian bread; blend well.
Spread 1 T crab mixture on each bread slice; place slices on broiler rack. Broil 4" from heat 5-6 minutes, or until lightly browned.
