Ingredients: 2 cans (28 ounce size) crushed tomatoes 1 can (12 ounce size) tomato paste 1/2 cup red wine 3 cups water 2 tablespoons dried oregano 1 tablespoon dried basil 1 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 tablespoon dried minced onion 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions: Place all ingredients into crockpot and cook on HIGH for 5 hours - if longer, turn pot down to a lower setting (especially if you have one of the newer ones that tends to boil the sauce rather quickly).
Serve with spaghetti, tortellini, or other pasta, along with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese, if you like.
