6 eggs
2 cups milk
6 slices bread, cubed
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1 pound bacon, fried & crumbled
directions
Brown bacon. Beat eggs, add milk, salt, mustard, then add cheese and bacon. Grease 8 x 8 inch pan and put bread cubes into pan. Add egg mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 45 minutes.

I could not find my recipe for an egg souffle. I wanted to prepare on New Year's Eve for New Year's Day. This worked quite well. I changed it slightly,using only 5 slices of bacon and 1 1/2 cups of Cheddar Cheese. I put the cubes in the dish and layered the cheese and bacon over the bread. Then I poured the egg mixture over it. I put in refrigerator overnight. I placed it in cold oven set for 350 deg. and baked it for 45 minutes. It turned out quite well this morning and we enjoyed it. Happy New Year!
