This is absolutely wonderful and easy to have on hand!

This recipe was lacking salt.I just add Tonys to spice it up and it was perfect.

This recipe was terrible. Bland would be too nice. It did not ask for salt, and definitely needed more than salt to make it good.

This was great! I added 1/2 tsp. sea salt to it and it was the same flavor as store bought, only without the hidden MSG. Thanks for the esay recipe!

Very goo, I like the idea of being able to make my own - but does need the salt. I didn't have any cayenne pepper, so it definitely lacked spice.

I browned ground turkey then added the suggested 7 tsp. of mix with 1 cup of water.

Tasted great! (Just add the salt!)

Very good, pretty much the same recipe I've been using for years. It does need salt, however, and I like adding Lawry's seasoned salt.

I personally liked it without the salt. We try to have low sodium, so this was a great, easy recipe, that tasted wonderful!

I forgot to pick up the seasoning packets at the store, so I found this recipe after a google search. It turned out that I will be using this recipe instead of the seasoning packets from now on.

If you like to add a bit of water like the instructions on the packaged mix state (I always add about 1/8 to 1/4 cup water), add a couple tablespoons flour to this recipe. It makes the meat moist and saucy.

Instead of cayenne, I used 1 tsp Zatarain's Cajun seasoning. I also added 2 tsp Lawry's seasoned salt. With my additions, I will never buy taco seasoning packets again. This was perfect.

I love this recipe, I have been using it for many years. Give it a try, no chemicals, great alternative to buying the mixes.

This smelled so good as it wafted across the kitchen, I wanted to eat it right away!

Blah! More salt, more chili powder.

Very close to packaged mixes; need to use a good chili powder (Penzey's, Gebhardt, Buena Vida)plus add a tsp. salt and 2/3 cup water; allow to simmer, then sit awhile to cool & for flavors to blend.

This receipe was great. I have really hot chili powder so I had to add less than what it calls for and it needed salt. Thanks it's great to have this....I no longer have to buy it from the store.
