Let's get saucy with this creative take on classic barbecue sauce. The blend of applesauce and bold flavors promises to turn even the dullest of dishes into an experience you'll savor.

3/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup ketchup
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a saucepan, add applesauce, ketchup, brown sugar, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cinnamon. Bring mixture to a simmer for several minutes. Cool.
This makes a sweet, spicy dipping barbeque sauce.

The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
