ingredients
4 quarts strong hot brewed coffee
1 quart milk
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup Kahlua or brandy (optional)
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
directions
Combine the coffee, milk, sugar, vanilla, and kahlua or brandy in a pitcher or other container. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
Scoop the ice cream into a punch bowl or into individual cups. Pour the coffee mixture over the ice cream and stir to blend. Serve immediately.
