Not the fanciest mac and cheese, but it is delicious comfort food. The twist on this recipe is that it includes bacon, tomatoes, and cream of mushroom soup.

3 cups cooked elbow macaroni, rinsed, drained
2 tablespoons bacon bits
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 can (14.5 ounce size) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
Combine the macaroni, bacon, onion, tomatoes, cheese, and mushroom soup in the crock pot. Mix gently.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours or until heated through. Mix well before serving.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.
