A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.

This dip was made popular with its accompanying deep-fried onion appetizer. It also goes great with French fries, onion rings, and fried seafood.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons ketchup
2 tablespoons creamy horseradish
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1 dash black pepper
1 dash cayenne pepper, more if desired
Whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, paprika, salt, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Mix until uniform in color.
Cover the bowl and chill for 30 minutes or up to 2 day

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

This recipe was very good... I personally left out the oregano and changed the amount of cayenne pepper from a dash to 1/8 tsp. I also added 1/8 tsp cumin, 1/8 tsp garlic powder, and 1/8 tsp of onion powder. This gave it a little more of a kick. Great recipe :)

This is great dip for onion rings, fried mushrooms, and I'm sure many other things! It truly tastes like that served in the restaurant.
