Vanilla Wafers

ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
directions
In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients. Add to mixture, mix well.
Drop by Tablespoons 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool.
