Hot Buttered Rum Batter

ingredients
1 pound brown sugar
1/4 pound butter
1 pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
directions
Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth, as you would for a cake, then add the spices and mix well.
To use: Add 1-2 tablespoons of the batter into mug or heatproof glass. Add 2 ounces rum, top with boiling water and stir to mix.
