What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!

Treat yourself to a dessert that's both eye-catching and straight-up crave-worthy. If Butterfinger doesn't feed your sweet tooth, then I don't know what will.

1 chocolate cake layer
1 box instant chocolate pudding mix, prepared
8 ounces Cool Whip
3 bars Butterfinger candy bar, crushed
Cut the cake into cubes. Place half of the cubes in the bottom of a large glass bowl. Spread half the pudding on top, then top with half the Cool Whip and half of the crushed candy; repeat. Refrigerate.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

My family and friends love this recipe. I do about 3 layers of everything in a trifle bowl. Everyone always wants this recipe. My girls age 5 and 7 can even make this easy dish.
