Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate
2 cups table cream (18% milk fat)
1 1/2 cup milk
6 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 over-ripe bananas
1 lemon, juiced
directions
Beat eggs lightly. Beat sugar into eggs.
Melt chocolate in milk and cream. When chocolate is partially melted, stir in cocoa powder. Continue stirring chocolate/cream mixture until hot but not quite boiling. Stir hot chocolate/cream mixture into eggs. Stir in vanilla extract. Cool.
When ready to make, mash bananas and lemon juice together Make chocolate mixture in ice cream maker. Just before it's ready, add banana mixture.

The difficulty with this recipe is that I didn't know when my ice cream would be almost done to add the bananas in. I put them in too early and they froze and clogged the "beater" up and didn't allow the ice cream to freeze completely. It had good flavor for chocolate banana soup.
