Have lots of little mouths to feed but short on dinner ideas? This children's spaghetti dish guarantees minimal hassle and maximum fun. They'll be slurping those noodles in no time.

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can (6 ounce size) tomato paste
3 cans (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 pound spaghetti pasta
Heat a 3-quart saute pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and onion. Cook, stirring, until the meat is no longer pink. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, sugar, and parmesan. Stir well. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let cook at a low simmer for 2-3 hours.
While the sauce is cooking, prepare the pasta as directed on the package. Drain well then serve the sauce over the pasta.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.
