My mother used to make an orange jello salad with pineapple and/or shredded carrots. She would cook a white mixture - cool it - and then spread on the top and top it off with shredded cheddar cheese. Any ideas?

Subject: Walmart and Marsh Cheddar Broccoli Pasta Salad
I love the cheddar pasta broccoli salad that you buy in the deli at Walmart and March grocery stores. But it's so expensive. I would like to make this for my family but have not been able to find a recipe for the dressing that is even close to what the dressing is at the deli. I know the deli's buy this salad as a kit that comes in a box as I have seen them open the box and mix all the contents together. They were busy and I was not ordering from the deli that day so I did not bother them to ask to see the label on the dressing (if there is one). Wish I would have! I have asked a few times when I bought it but none of the employees could tell me what the dressing was. Has anyone found a recipe for this? thanks, amanda

Subject: Looking for my mother\'s Unique Cheesecake Recipe
I have been looking for a recipe for over ten years and have not been able to find anything that even half-way resembles this cheesecake. My mother has passed away so I am not able to ask her and her family does not remember this. She made this dessert in a 9x13" pan and called it cheesecake. I believe it has a graham cracker crust and I'm sure it contained cream cheese (tho I'm not positive) but I am not sure of any of the other ingredients as I never made it with her. It is bright yellow-ish in color and very air like consistency (light air in the sense of how an angel food cake is airy. Meaning it's not thick or solid like most cheesecakes). I don't remember it tasting as any other cheesecake does. Does anyone have any ideas or any recipes that you think might resemble this? I would be very grateful to find this recipe again! :) Thanks so much! Amanda
