Ingredients:
2 squares (1 oz. size) unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup butter or margarine, PLUS"PLUS" means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 can (21 oz. size) cherry pie filling
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Place chocolate and butter in glass bowl. Microwave on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until melted. Add sugar, vanilla and eggs; beat well. Add 1 cup pie filling, flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Set aside.

Combine remaining pie filling, 1/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons butter in square glass baking dish. Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes or until butter is melted; mix well. Spoon chocolate mixture over pie filling.

Microwave on High for 10 minutes longer; turn dish. Microwave on High for 4 to 5 minutes longer.
