2 pounds boneless beef chuck
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons oil
2 cups water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon caraway seeds, (optional)
1 tablespoon vinegar


Cut beef into one inch cubes. Mix next five ingredients. Dredge the beef in this mixture and brown on all sides in the hot oil.

Put in two quart dutch oven, sprinkle with remaining flour if you have any left over. Add remaining ingredients, cover, simmer over lowest heat for two hours or until meat is tender.

Serve this dinner to your trick-or-treaters before they go out to collect their candy.
