Mincemeat Drop Cookies

ingredients
1 cup margarine or butter
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups prepared mincemeat
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Brandy Icing
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 tablespoon brandy
3 tablespoons milk (or enough to make of drizzling consistency)

In a bowl beat margarine until softened. In a small bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda together. Add half of the flour mixture, eggs and beat until combined. Beat in remaining flour, stir in mincemeat and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees F oven for 11-13 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet about 1 minute (to set). Remove cookies from cookie sheet; cool. Drizzle with brandy icing.
For Brandy Icing: In small bowl stir together.
