1 cup shortening
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
directions
Cream together the shortening, eggs and extract. Gradually add both the sugars.
Sift together the flour, salt and soda. Gradually add the flour mixture.
Fill the cookie press and form cookies on a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.
