1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup quick oatmeal
1/2 cup apple butter
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup chopped nuts
directions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg, oatmeal, and apple butter.
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture along with milk. Beat until blended. Stir in nuts. Chill.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. These freeze well.
