Coconut Creme Filled Bon Bons

ingredients
2 pounds powdered sugar
1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups finely chopped pecans
1 can (3.5 ounce size) flaked coconut, optional
Dipping
1 cup chocolate chips
1 ounce paraffin wax
directions
Mix all bon bon ingredients (not dipping sauce) in large mixing bowl, using hands, if necessary. Shape into small balls. Let set about 1 hour.
For Dipping: Melt chocolate chips and paraffin wax in double boiler. Dip candies in chocolate mixture using round toothpicks. Drain on wax paper.

These Bon-bons are a favorite from my childhood. The coconut is not an optional item in my book it adds great dimention to the recipe. They really are so good and everyone thinks they are very special when given as a present. Just be sure your chocolate is not too warm when dipping, so you get a nice thick coating of chocolate on them.
