Hot Sweet Dill Pickles

ingredients
1 quart (bought) dill pickles, drained and sliced
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper
2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed, peeled and minced
directions
Drain and slice pickles.
Layer sliced pickles, sugar, red pepper, and garlic in clean jar.
Turn jar once each day until sugar dissolves.
Let stand about a week before eating.

I make these pickles from store bought sliced dill pickles. Drain and pack them with as much sugar as the jar will hold with 2-4 garlic cloves and a small bottle of tabasco sauce. Let stand in refrigerator and shake ever so often. They are delicious.....
