Layered Monterey Pumpkin Dip Recipe

Ingredients:
1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
1 (8-ounce) package reduced-fat cream cheese (neufchatel) -- softened
3 tablespoons pickled jalapeno pepper liquid
1 (8-ounce) carton light dairy sour cream
1 (4 1/2-ounce) can diced green chili peppers
2 tablespoons finely chopped pickled jalapeno peppers
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 medium tomato -- chopped
1 (2 1/4-ounce) can sliced ripe olives
1/3 cup sliced green onion
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
tortilla chips
Directions:
In a medium bowl, beat together pumpkin, softened cream cheese and jalapeno liquid with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread in a 2 quart square baking dish.
In another bowl combine sour cream, green chilies, jalapeno peppers, and garlic salt. Spread atop the pumpkin layer. Sprinkle with tomato, olives, and green and red onions. Cover; chill for 2 to 4 hours. Serve with tortilla chips.
