Serves/Makes:   7 quarts

  

Ingredients:
6 quarts Popped Corn
1 1/2 cup Peanuts
1 1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Butter
3/4 cup Light Corn Syrup
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
2 teaspoons Cinnamon Oil
Red Food Color

Directions:

Put popped corn and peanuts in a greased roasting pan, use the largest one you have.

Combine sugar, butter and syrup in a heavy pan and bring to a boil, boil 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add rest of the list, mixing well.

Pour over popped corn and mix in well. Bake 1 hour at 200 F, stirring every 15 minutes, by feel until it is no longer sticky. Better if the day isn't too humid when you make it.
