Christmas Time Cinnamon Popcorn
INGREDIENTS:
6 quarts popped popcorn
1 1/2 cup peanuts
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup butter
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 teaspoons cinnamon oil
red food coloring
DIRECTIONS:
Put popped corn and peanuts in a greased roasting pan, use the largest one you have.
Combine sugar, butter and syrup in a heavy pan and bring to a boil, boil 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add rest of the list, mixing well.
Pour over popped corn and mix in well. Bake 1 hour at 200 degrees F, stirring every 15 minutes, by feel until it is no longer sticky. Better if the day isn't too humid when you make it.
