The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
2/3 cup light sour cream
5 drained anchovy fillets (oil patted off with towel)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper, crushed
1 tablespoon minced shallot
directions
Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Kept refrigerated, this will last a week.

too much worcestershire sauce for me. it overwhelmed the dressing. just not to my taste.

I love this recipe. I used a small can of anchovies (washed and patted dry) and added a wee bit more worcestershire sauce. It really doesn't taste like low fat.Thanks for a great recipe.
