4 cups grated raw carrots
3 cups sugar
2 lemons, Juice & grated rind of
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
directions
Combine all ingredients. Bring to a slow boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly until thick. Pour into hot sterilized jar. Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath at simmering temperature. This is excellent with meats or game fowl.
