24 Hour Lettuce Salad Recipe

Serves/Makes: 8
Ingredients:
1 large head lettuce
1/4 cup onion -- diced fine
1/4 cup celery -- sliced thin
1 can (8 oz. size) water chestnuts -- sliced
1 package (11 oz size) frozen peas -- not cooked or thawed
1 cup light mayonnaise
3 packets sugar substitute
8 teaspoons Parmesan cheese
8 teaspoons imitation bacon bits
Directions:
Shred lettuce in large serving bowl. Sprinkle next 3 ingredients over top in order and in layers. Break peas apart and sprinkle all over.
Spread on mayonnaise. Sprinkle on sugar substitute. Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese.
Cover tightly and refrigerate 24 hours. Before serving, top with bacon bits. Mix well.
