3 pounds beef stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup burgundy wine
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Combine the beef, onion soup mix, mushroom soup, fresh mushrooms, and red wine in a bowl. Mix well. Place the beef mixture in a baking dish. Cover tightly with foil.
Place the casserole in the oven and bake at 325 degrees F for 3 hours or until the beef is tender.
