A classic cocktail made with vodka, lemon juice, club soda, and sugar.

crushed ice
ice cubes
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce lemon juice
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
3 ounces club soda
maraschino cherry
Fill a collins glass half full with crushed ice.
Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice cubes. Add the vodka, lemon juice, and sugar to the shaker. Shake well then strain into the glass of ice. Add enough club soda to fill the glass.
Stir gently to mix then garnish with a cherry and serve immediately.
