Thick Dumplings (Noodles For Soup)

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil
water, as needed
Place flour in a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and oil. Add water to make a very stiff dough. Knead, roll to 1/4" thick, cut into large noodles.
Allow to dry all day. Turn over once or twice during that time.
Add to simmering soup or chicken broth, simmer till done.
