ingredients
32 slices French bread, 1/4" thick
1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
3 Roma tomatoes, diced
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
directions
Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place bread on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush half of the oil on bread. Bake for 4-5 minutes or until light golden brown.
Mix tomatoes, remaining oil, the garlic, cheese, basil and salt. Place about 1 Tb. tomato mixture on each warm bread slice.
