2 cups cold water
1 cup ice
2 cups peeled, seeded, and coarsely chopped fruit (see note below)
1/4 cup sugar
Combine the water, ice, fruit, and sugar in a pitcher. Gently crush the fruit and mix well until the sugar is dissolved. Serve well chilled.
