Sloppy Joes done the Texas way - piled high with ground beef, pinto beans, and green chiles.

1 pound ground beef
1 envelope sloppy joe seasoning mix
1 can (14.5 ounce size) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 can (4 ounce size) chopped green chiles
shredded cheese, optional
8 hamburger rolls, Texas toast, or flour tortillas
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the sloppy joe seasoning, pinto beans, tomato sauce, ketchup, and green chiles to the skillet. Mix well. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve the Texas-style sloppy joes topped with cheese on hamburger buns, Texas toast, or flour tortillas.
