Ingredients:
***Cake***
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pure almond extract
1 quart cherry pie filling
***Topping***
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons margarine

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and dust lightly with flour. To make the cake, combine butter and 1 cup granulated sugar in a large bowl. Beat until creamy. Add eggs and sour cream and beat until well-combined. Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients to cream mixture. Beat well after each addition. Add vanilla and almond extracts. Pour 1/2 of this mixture into the prepared pan.

Spread with cherry-pie filling. Pour remaining 1/2 of mixture over pie filling. To make the topping, mix sugar, cinnamon, flour and pecans in a small bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until crumbly.

Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
