Spaghetti with Garlic and Olive Oil Recipe

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Kosher salt
12 ozs. dried spaghetti
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 garlic gloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh italian parsley
1 teaspoon minced fresh oregano leaves
1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme leaves
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Directions:
Fill large pot two-thirds fill of water; Add 1 tablespoon salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Transfer to shallow serving bowl.
Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in small skillet over medium-low heat; add garlic and simmer gently 3 minutes or until it just begins to soften. Add red pepper; remove from heat. Set aside.
Add extra virgin olive oil to garlic mixture; pour over pasta. Add parsley, oregano, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper; toss gently. Divide pasta evenly among plates. Top with Parmigiano-Reggiano, if desired.
