Baked Italian Spaghetti

1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
1 pound spaghetti, cooked and drained
1 cup colby cheese, grated
1 can (8 ounce size) diced tomatoes, drained
1 can tomato sauce
garlic salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in baking dish; bake at 350 degrees F for 30-45 minutes (or until done). Serve with garlic bread and a salad.

Excellent and very simple all-american baked pasta dish. Can't make it wrong and easy to modify. Don't use Colby cheese. Use a mild cheddar and add as much tomato as you want.
I made this with my kid when she was 7 or 8. I wanted a simple recipe that she'd also like to eat. We still make it sometimes.
