Joan`s Chutney Recipe

Serves/Makes: 1.5 pints
Ingredients:
3/4 cup White raisins;
1/4 cup Bell peppers; chopped fine
1 cup White vinegar;
4 Pears; cored,pared, chopped
2 cups sugar Non-nutritive equivalent
1/2 teaspoon Ginger
1/4 teaspoon Allspice
1/4 teaspoon Cloves
1/4 teaspoon Salt
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in large pan; bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium, cook until pears are tender and mixture is slightly thick (about an hour). Spoon into three clear 1/2 pint jars and seal immediately.
