Bruise the berries and allow them to stand a few days to ferment slightly. If there is not sufficient juice, allow 1/4 cupful of boiling water to every pound of fruit. Let them stand a few hours, then pour through a jelly bag to drip. To each pint of juice add 1 pound of sugar, boil for fifteen minutes, removing all scum, and when cold, bottle and seal.
