1 pound canned sauerkraut, rinsed and drained 1 pound Polish sausage, sliced 3 tart cooking apples, thickly sliced 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds 3/4 cup apple juice
Place half of the sauerkraut in bottom of crock pot. Top with sliced sausage. Add apples, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and caraway seeds. Top with remaining sauerkraut and pour apple juice over top.
Cover; cook on high for 3-4 hours, or low for 6-7 hours.
