Round Steak Goulash

ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
2 pounds round steak, cut in 1" cubes
1 cup onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 cups hot cooked noodles
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup water
directions
Melt shortening in large skillet or Dutch oven. Add beef, onion and garlic. Cook and stir until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire, sugar, salt, paprika, cayenne and 1 1/2 cups of water.
Cover and simmer 2-2 1/2 hours. Blend flour and 1/4 cup of water. Stir into meat mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Serve over hot noodles.
