Black Satin Sauce Recipe

Serves/Makes: 1 cup
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cream
3 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
Directions:
Heat cream and butter until butter melts, add sugar and heat until it melts. Sift in (pour a little at a time through a fine strainer) cocoa.
Bring to boil, done. Sauce is runny when hot, but solidifies to chewy on ice cream, and is thicker than tomato paste when refrigerated.
